The fourth work in this five-part series, Nudes in the Garden emerged from a moment of profound personal restructuring, translating the reconstruction of one's world into physical form. Measuring 36″×48″, the canvas expands on my signature paper painting technique, layering hand-cut fashion editorial fragments over targeted acrylic paint to create a sanctuary of quiet restoration.

Every element functions as a structural pillar within the composition. Disparate, hand-cut commercial fashion fragments form a dense botanical composition that anchors the upper canvas, placing former chaos behind the figures as they step forward. At the base, pink and orange daisies balance delicacy with tenacity, while architectural brick elements sourced from Dior layouts in Harper’s Bazaar form an unfinished wall, capturing the ongoing tension between protective boundaries and intentional receptivity.

A weeping willow bends across the composition alongside a caterpillar and butterfly, signaling a subtle metamorphosis across the landscape. The figures, adorned with delicate silver and emerald jewelry, carry an unshakeable poise, establishing their presence as an inherent truth rather than a temporary facade. At the core of the composition sits a single red rose, serving as an understated yet vital focal point added to the canvas. Ultimately, Nudes in the Garden explores the concept of the cultivated space, showing how deliberate reconstruction yields an enduring environment of peace.
