Pieces of Her marks the beginning of my transition into color—a shift born of necessity and celebration. In 2017, the same month I entered remission, I was invited to exhibit at the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History. Lacking the resources for traditional paint, I turned to the vivid editorial pages of luxury magazines to form my vision. This first exploration proved that the human form could be meticulously rebuilt from fragments, mirroring my own journey of healing.
