ASYMMETRIC PURITY (2020)
12in x 16in
Mixed Media: Hand-Cut Found Editorial
and Acrylic on Canvas
This piece began as a tentative exploration into figurative paper painting. I was initially hesitant, unsure if the rigid nature of found paper could truly capture the fluid vision I had for the human form. What started as an experimental study of skin tones and body composition eventually became a discovery of how fragments can sculpt a pose, resulting in Asymmetric Purity.
